Body, Mind & Soul

The body, mind and soul is a concept that refers to the idea that people are more than just their thoughts, and that our mental, physical, and spiritual components are all interconnected, which together make us whole.

The body is the physical aspect of ourselves that allows us to experience the world through our senses.

The mind is responsible for our thoughts, beliefs, and actions. It includes both our conscious and unconscious thoughts.

The soul is the intangible part of us that encompasses our innermost values, passions, and existential reflections. Essentially, the essence of who we are.

The body, mind and soul are intricately connected, and each component affects the other. For example, mental or emotional distress can manifest as physical symptoms, such as an elevated heart rate, sweating, or lack of sleep. Conversely, when the mind is relaxed, we may feel happier, kinder, and more grateful.

Taking time out for ourselves even if it's just for 10 minutes a day is vital in a chaotic, busy world where we can often lose sight of who we are, who we want to be & our motivations behind our actions.
